The Matsui 301 series is by far the best line of waterbased inks that I've ever used, and I've tried at least five other brands. It's really slow to dry, so you can print with it for hours (try that with Speedball ink!) The colors are nice, bright and rich.
If you do waterbased printing, or you're interested in trying waterbased inks, give Matsui a try. It's good stuff.
Also, I don't know what category the metallic binder falls in, but it's awesome. I've never found a metallic that worked so well. Printing it straight gives you a lovely silver with just one layer, and you can add pigments to it to make a colored glittery print.
My only complaint about the 301 series is that they only offer pantone colors. I'd love for them to come out with a bright red and a brown Ready For Use ink, but I will settle for mixing some up myself using red and brown pigments and the 301 base ink.
