301M Matte White Water Based Screen Printing Ink Base

301M Matte White is a soft semi-transparent ink used for screen printing color pigments on most textile fabrics. The 301M Matte can be combined with other bases and/or color pigments to achieve the desired effect. 301M Matte is used as the base to the "On White" series of inks from Matsui.

Printing Recommendations
301 Series inks print well through 80-305 mesh with direct emulsions and capillary films. They will not dry in the screen but it is recommended that a flood stroke is used between prints. Water proof emulsions should be used to prevent stencil break-down. Screens made with standard emulsions can be hardened after they have been exposed and washed out. (Hardened screens are fully reclaimable)

Curing
Recommended cure temperature is 350° F. for 60-90 seconds depending on curing unit and type of fabric being printed. The ink must be heated thoroughly to properly cure. When properly cured the ink is 100% washable.

Pigment Mixing
Water based pigments can be mixed with 301M Matte up to 12%. Mix by weight as always.
