301C Clear Water Based Screen Printing Ink Base

301C Clear is a ultra soft transparent ink used for screen printing color pigments on most textile fabrics. The 301C Clear is the base used in the 301 RC Eco-Series line of inks from Matsui International. This base can be combined with other bases and/or color pigments to achieve the desired effect.

Printing Recommendations
301 Series inks print well through 80-305 mesh with direct emulsions and capillary films. They will not dry in the screen but it is recommended that a flood stroke is used between prints. Water proof emulsions should be used to prevent stencil break-down. Screens made with standard emulsions can be hardened after they have been exposed and washed out. (Hardened screens are fully reclaimable)

Curing
Recommended cure temperature is 350° F. for 60-90 seconds depending on curing unit and type of fabric being printed. The ink must be heated thoroughly to properly cure. When properly cured the ink is 100% washable.

Pigment Mixing
Water based pigments can be mixed with 301C Clear up to 12%. Mix by weight as always.
