301 Metallic Base - Eco Series Water Based Ink

301 Metallic is a eco friendly water based screen printing ink for textiles. It is a very bright silver metallic ready to print straight out of the container. You can also mix it with any of Matsui's water based color pigments to create almost any metallic color you might need!

Printing Recommendations
301 Series inks print well through 80-305 mesh with direct emulsions and capillary films. They will not dry in the screen but it is recommended that a flood stroke is used between prints. Water proof emulsions should be used to prevent stencil break-down. Screens made with standard emulsions can be hardened after they have been exposed and washed out. (Hardened screens are fully reclaimable)

Curing
Recommended cure temperature is 350° F. for 60-90 seconds depending on curing unit and type of fabric being printed. The ink must be heated thoroughly to properly cure. When properly cured the ink is 100% washable.

Pigment Mixing
Water based pigments can be mixed with 301 Metallic up to 12%. Mix by weight as always.
